Some memories play out like a movie, but very few. Others are like a photo: vivid, strong, clear. But most memories simply evoke. A fleeting image, inviting a rush of sounds, colors, smells, emotions.
We remember holding hands, we remember the sound of the sea, we remember the joy of the wind in our hair.
I’ve created these pieces of memory entirely of glass, fragile, ephemeral. I give them a softened surface, a texture. I want them to evoke. Just like memories.
